Philosophy

As a chef. I believe a plant based diet is the future of food for humanity. As a species we must shift to more sustainable practices to ensure the health and wellness of future generations. I relish the opportunity to immerse in the joy of food and to explore the culinary arts. My purpose is to take plant based culinary to higher ground.

As a teacher, I believe that we teach who we are and that teaching is an art form. I feel it is essential to continually evolve, evaluate and seek to improve in order to put forth the best of ourselves each and every day. I hope to inspire my students to seek more from themselves and to develop a lifelong love for learning and knowledge. I wish to challenge them to explore uncharted territory, to take risks and learn from mistakes. My philosophy is ever evolving as I experience each new day.

As a technologist, I believe that technology in schools is as important as the plumbing, electricity and school cafeteria.

As a human being, I believe empathy is the most important understanding we must teach our future generations.
