futureTechEd

In 2006 I began my career with St. Saviour, technology maintenance, content filtering and network management were outsourced to a third party vendor. My experience with outside contractors taught me that schools need something more than passionless support. As I began to  assume the lions share of these responsibilities, I pursued my Master in Technology in Education at Columbia Universities Teachers College and St. Saviour High School became my first client in this new venture, futureTechEd.

I launched futureTechEd in the summer of 2013 in response to a growing need from schools for something more. I begin with what I believe in and am passionate about: challenging the status quo of Educational Technology. Schools are the hope for a better future for children and I believe they deserve more than just another tech consultant company that leaves as soon as the computers are installed. I get out of bed every morning thinking teachers and students first. I am  inspired by schools and their commitment to their community.

futureTechEd is a technology company with the heart of a teacher. We are here to help schools take advantage of all the tools available today. How we challenge the status quo is by working closely with schools to determine their needs, tie their needs to their mission and design a plan that works for them. We maximize existing infrastructure, provide an array of choices and help the school decide the way forward.

We provide network support, hardware and software support (MAC or PC), internet access, content filtering service, professional development, curriculum guidance and more, for schools that are looking to provide the best technology solutions for their institution. .
