Time flies when you’re having fun and business is starting to boom. In less than two years I am now consulting for five schools and a media company. From Professional development, firewall installations, wifi infrastructure support and Google Domain setups to transforming old chalk boardsin to dry erase boards. Best thing about it all is the on the job training. Mistakes were made but I learned a ton in the process.
One school I work with still has the old chalk boards. I ran across an issue with installing a Epson Brighlink projector which forced us to paint the blackboard to display an image. Thus was born the idea to transform chalk boards into dry erase.
More tech aesthetics this year. Removing old detritus technology. A lot of schools resemble museums of technologies of old. Summer is the perfect time to get rid of them.
Also this year I got to build new pc’s in my computer lab at the high school as part of a lesson with my senior elective class.
Man that was fun!!!
